Exchange-traded fund

Also known as ETF

A pooled fund that trades on an exchange like a single stock, usually tracking an index, sector or theme. ETFs give diversified exposure in one line, intraday liquidity and low cost, which is why OHC's equity strategy leans on them for geographic and sector allocation. QQQ, the Nasdaq-100 ETF, is the vehicle behind much of the LMRSS work.
